News about this Winnershow: 5 females were present and for the second year in a row Kiyo was voted best female and thus she gained her second official Winner title!

November 1, 2011: Puppy planning, please look at our puppy planning page!
The coverage took place at the end of October 2011.  Late November, by making an ultrasound, our veterinarian can determine whether Kiyo became pregnant.  We hope the birth will be at the end of December 2011.

2010

• November 27, 2010: At the biggest dogshow in the Netherlands, Kiyo became best female and thus gained the title Winner 2010.  This was the only official Dutch title that was still missing in her show career!
• July 16, 2010: Finally it's official for Kiyo: we received her title of Belgian Champion from the Belgian Kennelclub!
• June 6, 2010: Great results for Kiyo at the International Show in Tilburg: At the end of the show, in the final judging of FCI group 2, by Belgian judge Roosenboom, Kiyo was placed as eighth of the group. This is truly an exceptional and rare result for a Tosa. Of course we are extremely proud of Kiyo! Earlier that day, at the judging of the breed, judge Roosenboom gave Kiyo qualification 1 Excellent BOB with the remark that he thought Kiyo is a wonderful Tosa.  He gave a fantastic judging report containing the following comments:  Very nice size, great mass, solid built with powerful head of good proportions, strong scissor bite, broad skull with correct muzzlelength, dark eye, small correctly placed ears, typical wrinkles and eyebrows, double dewlap, powerful neck, good withers, firm back, good angulations and good tail, movement typically easy with long step, fine pigmentation, healthy shiny hair and beautiful red / brown color.
• May 24, 2010: At the Pentecostal show in Arnhem Kiyo was the only Tosa. Judge Hiddes gave her the qualification 1 Excellent BOB with a wonderful judging report, some of his comments: Excellent head and expression, dark eye, complete scissor bite, excellent body, remarkable good muscles, best angulations, goes pretty parralel with very much thrust
• May 2, 2010, at the Braboshow in Antwerp, Belgium, out of 4 Tosa's Kiyo became best female, thus she gained her last needed CAC to become Belgian Champion. Now we have to wait patiently for the official recognition of that title by the Belgian Kennel Club.
• April 17, 2010: Success continues for Kiyo:
  At Dogshow Goes in Goes, The Netherlands Kiyo became Dutch Champion. Now she is Dutch Champion, Dutch Youth Champion, Youth Winster '08 and Belgian Winster '09  
• April 2010: In the Netherlands the Tosa has found a breedclub again, by joining the Dutch Akitaclub (NVAI)

2009:

• In January and March 2009, at the shows in Eindhoven and Leiden, Nihon Koku's Bushido became best male and also Best of Breed. He now gained the official title of Dutch Junior Champion  (NJK). He is the 1st Tosa male with this title!
• Spring 2009 Kiyo achieved at the shows in Leiden and Goes her 2nd and 3rd Junior CAC thus also becoming Dutch Junior Champion.
• Summer 2009 Kiyo became BOB (Best of Breed) at the shows in Antwerp and in Lokeren in Belgium.
• November 8, 2009 at the show in Bleiswijk Yasu became BOB. This was her last point needed for the title of Dutch Champion!
• December 6, 2009 at the "Dogachtigen" specialty show for all mastiff in Den Bosch, were 6 Tosa´s in total, 5 females and 1 male. Two females were in the Champion Class and we had our young Kiyo with us, in the intermediate class. We are proud that, despite her young age, Kiyo was chosen as Best of Breed ( BOB)!

• December 12 2009 in Belgium at Brussels Dog Show Kiyo again got the qualification Best of Breed and thus became Belgian Winner 2009! 
  This was our last show for 2009.

2008

• January 1, 2008 at Nihon Koku the 2nd Tosa litter was born, 13 beautiful puppies, 8 males and 5 females. Father  is the excellent Champion Isan od Janusow and mother is our own Champion Megasthenes Ekira.
• Nihon Koku's Benihime, called Kiyo, came back home and remains with us now!
• On the 1st official club match of the breed club ADCN in October 2008 Isan od Janusow, the father of our 2nd litter, was qualified as best male by the Belgian judge Rosenboom. From our B-litter the male Nihon Koku's Bushido became 2nd male, besides his father Isan.
• In december 2008 Nihon Koku Tosa Inu's was very successful at the Winnershow in Amsterdam. Nihon Koku's Bushido became best junior male and best male, which earned him the titles Junior Winner 2008 and Winner 2008. His litter sister, our own Nihon Koku's Benihime, became best junior female and won the title Junior Winster 2008.
